Mullingr Equestrian Centre is approximately 1 hour from Dublin city and airport. We are situated on the L1137 , Athlone road (R390 ) about 2 kms west of Mullingar.
Directions by road
If you are travelling from Dublin make sure that you stay on the M4 ( For Sligo ) in Kinnegad and do not take the M6 for Galway From Dublin : As one approaches Mullingar take the 3rd Exit off the N4 on the Mullingar by pass ( Castle pollard /Town Centreexit ) follow the directions for town centre and at the hospital follow signs for Athlone ( R390) .
From Sligo /Longford : Take the 1 st exit ( Exit 11) into Mullingar town , take a right for Mullingar and follow the signs for Athlone ( R390)from the hospital.
From Kilbeggan take the M6 motorway towards Dublin for about 7 kms , then take the turn ff at the Tyrellspass /Mullingar exit ( N 52), and follow signs into Mullingar . At the first roundabout outside Mullingar take the first left signed Rochfortbridge / Mullingar ( R 400), and at the next roundabout take the second exit over the NEW Joe Dolan bridge and follow signs for Athlone ( R390 )
There is also an excellent Train to Mullingar from Dublin and Sligo
Mullingar is a lively bustling town with lots of good shops, restaurants, pubs , hotels, bed & breakfasts and night clubs
