MULLINGAR INTERNATIONAL 2 * Show & Summer Festival 2010

will take place at the excellent facilities at Mullingar Equestrian from June 5th to 7th For those not competing this is an fantastic three day festival,ideal for a weekend away or a family day out . Mullingar Is a lively bustling town with lots of excellent hotels, pubs, restaurants,shops etc . NEW FOR 2010 Land Rover RDS Puissance Qualifier      If you hope/intend to jump in the RDS puissance please email name of rider &horse to info@mullingarequestrian.com by May 30th so that we will have a rough estimate of entries.  Definite Entries for this class will close at 12am On Sunday June 6th

Whats happening at the show !

• Three days of Show jumping with four arenas running each day from 9am.
• €60,000  prizefund
• 6 International Classes
• 50 National jumping Classes
• €20,000 Grand Prix on Monday 2pm
• Professional /Pony pairs relay Monday 4.30
• Dog Show Monday 3 pm
• Side show to include cossack riding , market stalls, equestrian stands etc e

Directions by road

From Dublin :  Outside Mullingar Take the 3rd Exit off the N4 ( Exit 11)  ( Castle pollard /Town Centre ) , take a left for Mullingar and follow signs for Athlone road from the hospital

From Sligo /Longford : Take the 1 st exit ( Exit 11) into Mullingar town and follow the signs for Athlone from the hospital

From Kilbeggan , take the M 6 for about 7 kms , then take the  Tyrellspass  exit a nd follow the N 52 into Mullingar ( N 52, then R 400 )  . At the Texaco/ Dalys garage take a left down through the Business park and head for the Athlone road .( R390)

There is also an excellent Train service from Dublin and Sligo

General Rules & regulations for Stables, National & international entries
    * Temporary Stabling available , €75 for the duration of the show . All stabling must be pre booked       through our on line booking system .
    * Stabling must be booked and paid for in advance
    * Stable cancellations must be made in writing to info@mullingarequestrian .. No refunds after this date ( June 1st )     * Stables will be allocated by show staff
    * GATES close at 9 pm SHARP and horses will not be allowed to arrive into the show grounds after 9pm
    * Scooters, Quads and all MPV,s are strictly prohibited
    * Management will do their best to accommodate special stable requests but this cannot always be guaranteed
    * The Show Organisers will not be responsible for any accident, theft, damage to person, vehicle or property that may occur whilst stabling on the grounds

International Entry Conditions

    * Closing date for international entries is May 17th .  Mullingar Official show entry form must be used ( Available on our web site ) Entries must be accompanied by credit card details or cheque . We will not lodge cheques or process visas before 12 on June 1st after which the rider will be liable for full entry . In exceptional circumstances situations may be be brought to the OC attention. ( €130 per stable  will be liable on all  international entries after June 1st .)
    * International riders must attend the trot up between 4 & 6 on Friday June 5th  International horses cannot leave the show grounds during the show

National HSI entries (    * Horse Sport Ireland classes ie Event 1 & 2 must be pre entered on line before June 1st . once the draw is made on Wednesday there will be no refunds on HSI entries , €10 booking fee will be held on all entries )

Every one who enters for Mullingar must accept that no responsibility or liability is attached whatsoever to the organisers , promoters, or landowners in relation to any injury that you , your family, any horse/pony over which you have control ,or any third party may sustain, whether it arises our of any act of negligence, nuisance ,breach of Statutory duty, breach of contract or misrepresentation on part of the promoters, organisers or landowners or in any matter arising
 
Show organisers reserve the right to reject or refuse any entry or to alter the schedule as they seem fit. Times or Arenas are subject to change.
