Overseas Riders wishing to compete in national classes: 

Overseas riders can also bring horses for the national classes & be eligible for prizemoney if you join Showjumping Ireland (SJI) before the show. There is a special registration fee available. Contact the SJI Office on 00353-45852230 or info@sjai.ie

A SPECIAL RATE of €22 per metre has been agreed with Irish Ferries for riders travelling from overseas to compete at the Mullingar Country Fayre and International Horse Festival. For further details please contact Robert Fagan on 086-2519161

Irish Ferries sailings are available from Dublin to Holyhead, Rosslare to Pembroke and from Ireland to France via Rosslare to Cherbourg or Roscoff.

Event 5, 6 & 7 (HSI), 3 year old class and national  stabling close on May 17th Download National Entry & Stable Form

All other entries on the day.

 

NATIONAL STABLING

Limited Stabling available on site, €80 for the duration of the show  All  stable bookings on MEC official entry form. Cancellation deadline May 24th if submitted in writing.

Electrical Connection €40 pre-booked with stables.

National Classes - Declarations for

Events 16, 17, 18: deadline Saturday before 6.00pm

Event 28: deadline 2.00 pm Sunday

Events 29 & 30: deadline Sunday before 6.00 pm

Events 35 & 36: deadline Sunday before 6.00 pm

After which the place will go to the next qualified rider

All finals will be drawn order

 

International Classes - Declarations

  • Declaration must be made before 6.00 pm for the followings day classes

 

INTERNATIONAL RULES


GOLD Tour (Int. 2,3,5,6,,8,9) - 1.30/1.40 - Entry Fee:  €350 (incl. stable)


SILVER Tour (Int. 1,2,4,5,7,8 ) - 1.20/1.30 - Entry Fee: €300 (incl. stable)

    

  • Trot up for all international horses will be on Friday May 31st from 4.00 until 6.00 pm. This trot up is compulsory

  • Declarations close at 6.00 pm the evening before the following days event

  • Vaccinations must be up to date

  • Riders & horses must be registered with the FEI.

  • Riders must use official MEC entry form & complete all sections
