Performance animals three years old and over must have a current vet cert from a member of the Veterinary Panel. 

An accurate description of your horse or pony is the basis of a successful sale.

The Vendor is obliged to disclose all past history of the animal in relation to unsoundness, ailments, vices, operations, etc. The Vendor must also declare any other problem with the animal, e.g. nervous, difficult to ride, difficult to box, or any other behavioural or other problems.  Following the sale if any horse has any difference in description or evidence of vice, injury or fault that should have been declared, then the animal may be returnable to the Vendor, and the Vendor will be liable for all costs incurred by the purchaser arising from the sale.

X-Rays are not a sales requirement, but are recommended for higher value lots if you are to get the best possible price.

VAT DETAILS

Different VAT rules apply depending on the VAT status of the vendor - (A) The Vendor is registered for VAT. The vendor will receive the Bid Price (less the auctioneers’ commission, 3%) + VAT. (B) The Vendor is a ‘Flat Rate Farmer’. A ‘Flat Rate Farmer’ will receive the Bid Price (less the auctioneers’ commission, 3%) + the Flat Rate Farmer’s Addition (5%). (C) The Vendor is NOT registered for VAT and is NOT a ‘Flat Rate Farmer’ and NO VAT was or will be claimed by the Vendor on the purchase/acquisition/import of this equine. In these circumstances the Vendor may confirm that the equine is eligible for sale under the ‘VAT Margin Scheme for Second Hand Goods’ to be sold without VAT, (D) None of the above apply. This equine will be sold with VAT and the Vendor will receive the Bid Price less the auctioneers’ commission, 3%

The Reserve Price is for the auctioneer's guidance only and is not for publication. The Reserve can be lowered prior to the commencement of the auction but cannot be raised.
