EQUESTRIAN CENTRES COVID 19 PROTOCOLS

The Equestrian sector is aware of the major public health threat posed by the Covid 19 pandemic and the importance of the measures we all must take to reduce transmission of the virus. In re-opening our Equestrian Venues, the members of ECVOA (the Equestrian Competition Venue Owners Alliance) are introducing protocols for venues across Ireland in a phased manner and all will be adhering to Government guidelines. We have introduced additional measures, unique to equestrian sport, for your safety. Please watch this short video to familiarise yourself with these protocols.

All riders or other parties coming to the centre will be asked to confirm that they and their staff have read these protocols and will fully co-operate with the Covid 19 Compliance Officer on site.

Attendees are required to bring their own supply of anti Covid 19 disinfectant materials for their personal use.

PERFORMANCE HORSE & PONY SALE, Saturday 19 June

LIVE AUCTION - Live Streamed to a Worldwide Audience - WITH ONLINE BIDDING

50% of sales in our March auction were to overseas buyers

Sales Entry Fee: €75.00

Sales Entry Fee + Pre-Sale Video Day: €140.00

Performance animals, 3yo+ with a reserve of €1500 or more must have a current vet cert from a member of the veterinary panel. Vendors are strongly recommended to have all animals vetted prior to sale if you are to maximise the auction opportunities for your horse or pony. This is especially important if you are to have the confidence of online buyers.

An accurate description of your horse or pony is the basis of a successful sale.

The Vendor is obliged to disclose all past history of the animal in relation to unsoundness, ailments, vices, operations, etc. The Vendor must also declare any other problem with the animal, e.g. nervous, difficult to ride, difficult to box, or any other behavioural or other problems.  Following the sale if any horse has any difference in description or evidence of vice, injury or fault that should have been declared, then the animal is returnable to the Vendor, and the Vendor is liable for all costs incurred by the purchaser arising from the sale.

X-Rays are not a sales requirement, but are recommended for higher value lots if you are to get the best possible price.

Please read Conditions of Sale.
