- All Day
We can’t do a lot about the weather but despite the cold East wind today a big thank you to all who supported another sucessful inter schools event in Mullingar . Jumping kicked off at 10.15 sharp with the novice team event in International Sand followed by the Open teams . Well done to Borris Community School ( Open team Winners) & Scoil Mhuire Trim ( Novice Winners) .
Three indivudal classes followed the team events in international sand . The 90cm novice event was won by a delighted Aoibhe Long for Gael Scoil An Phobal Rathcairn with a win for King’s Hosptial & Zoe Bolton in the metre class.. With a 5.30 finish and probably the longest journey home it was well worth the wait for Gorey School competitor Emma Steacy who won the final class of the day the HSI 1.10 qualifier with Catherine Kavanagh finishing runner up for Borris Community School .
Sand Arena 1 was busy all day with a win for Dalystown NS in the primary Team event . The 70cm class was won by James Dempsey , Kate Egan took the 80cm title and the 90cm was won by Jessica Flood .
Thank you to our Course Designers Seamus Casey who presided over the courses in Int Sand & Safe Journey to Sand 1 CD Mickael Kaeavney who heads over seas next month but will return in time for the 2019 Mullingar Int Show. Thanks also to our Judges & arena parties & all who helped out during the day
