Ridden Hunter Classes

Ring 1 at 9am

(International Grass Arena)

Entry Fee: €25.00 (pre entry ONLY)

Class 1 – 4 year old Ridden Hunter Qualifier for Redmills Show Horse Final.

Class 2 – Ridden Irish Draught

Class 3 – Amature ridden horse qualifier for the Redmills show horse final.

Class 4 – Small Hunter, up to 158cm

Class 5 – Light Weight Hunter

Class 6 – Medium/Heavy Weight Hunter

Class 7 – Ladies Hunter

Class 8 – Small & Large Riding Horse

Class 9 – Light Weight Cob up to 155cm

Class 10 – Heavy Weight Cob up to 155cm

Class 11 – Maxi Cob

Class 12 – Side Saddle (open to all riders)

Class 13 – Open Ridden Mountain & Moorland (inc Connemara) – not eligible for championship

Class 14 – Local Riding Class (open to local riders that have not won a previous class ) – Not eligible for championship.

 

  • Eddie Purcell Memorial Cup Ridden Horse Championship. The Champion and Reserve Champion will qualify for the Redmills Show Horse Final.

 

 

 

Working Hunter Classes

Ring 2 at 10am

(Sand 1)

Class 15 – 60cm Working Hunter

Class 16 – 70cm Working Hunter, inc 4 Year Olds

Class 17 – 80cm Working Hunter, inc Cobs

Class 18 – Open Mountain & Moorland, inc Connemara’s (85cm)

Class 19 – 90cm Working Hunter

Class 20 – Metre Working Hunter

Class 21 – 1.10 Working Hunter

Working Hunter Championship – OPEN to 1st & 2nd prize winners in all working hunter classes.

 

 

 

 

In Hand Young Horse Classes

Ring 3 at 11am

(International Sand)

Entry Fee: €25.00 – Pre Entry ONLY

Class 22 – Yearling Filly likely to make a Hunter.

Class 23 – Yearling Colt/Gelding likely to make a Hunter.

Class 24 – 2 year old Filly likely to make a Hunter.

Class 25 – 2 year old Colt/Gelding likely to make a Hunter.

Class 26 – 3 year old Filly likely to make a Hunter.

Class 27 – 3 year old Colt/Gelding likely to make a Hunter.

  • In Hand Hunter Championship – 1st & 2nd prize winners from classes 22 – 27 are eligible for championship.

 

Class 28 – Irish Draught Yearling Colt/Gelding or Filly

Class 29 – Irish Draught 2 Year Old Colt/Gelding or Filly

Class 30 – Irish Draught 3 Year Old Colt/Gelding or Filly

  • In Hand Irish Draught Championship 1st & 2nd prize winners from classes 28 – 30 are eligible for championship.

 

Class 31 – Mountain & Moorland inc Connemara Yearling Filly

Class 32 – Mountain & Moorland inc Connemara Yearling Colt/Gelding

Class 33 – Mountain & Moorland inc Connemara 2 Year Old Filly

Class 34 – Mountain & Moorland inc Connemara 2 Year Old Colt/Gelding

Class 35 – Mountain & Moorland inc Connemara 3 Year Old  Filly

Class 36 – Mountain & Moorland inc Connemara 3 Year Old Colt/Gelding

  • In Hand Mountain & Moorland inc Connemara Championship. 1st & 2nd prize winners from classes 31 – 36 are eligible for championship.

 

 

 

Masks must be worn by all except when mounted . Observe 2 metre social distancing 

Do not travel if you are feeing  unwell or have been out of the country in the previous 14 days
